Request to Join

Dwelling in the Word is a method by which we spiritually submit to scripture with a desire to hear from God and respond with our lives. It is done following 4 Ds: Dig, Discern, Do, and Debrief.

This session of Dwelling we will focus on the scripture connected to the 5 steps in the Prayer of Examen. Each week we will work with the scripture associated with a step. The 6th and last session we will debrief on what God has taught us and where He is calling us to grow.

Please bring your bible and a journal!

Common Questions

Have a question about groups?

If you have questions or need help finding a group, you can reach out to us at

What is a group?
Following Jesus is not meant to be a solitary journey. We were created to live out our faith in community. Joining a group is one way to connect with other people and experience the transformation that can come through following Jesus with other people.
How do I join a group?
First, find a group that is of interest to you. When you find one, you can click the button to "Request to Join". When you request to join, you will be reaching out directly to the group leader, who will be in touch with you.
What happens during a group meeting?
Each group will be a little different, but generally will include time for connection with others, discussion, learning about a topic, and following through with a practice to live into through the week.
Can I lead a group?
If you feel God is prompting you to lead a group, we're here to help and support you! Reach out to us and we would love to come alongside you to make your group successful and open it up to our church.
