Buried with Jesus in death. Raised to walk in new life.

Baptism is an outward action that represents a new reality — going down into the water connecting you to Jesus' death, and coming up out of it into his resurrection life.

What we believe about baptism

A symbol, not a payment

It's the blood of Jesus that saves us, not water. Baptism doesn't earn anything. Think of it like a wedding ring: the ring didn't create the love, but it's still a significant, meaningful symbol of it.

For those who have decided to follow Jesus

Baptism is for people who have truly surrendered their lives to Jesus. It's not a ritual done at a certain age, but always a response to a real decision to make him Lord. If that's you, baptism is a great next step.

A public declaration of allegiance

When you go under the water, you're telling everyone — your family, your friends, your church — that your allegiance has changed. You're no longer living for yourself. You belong to Jesus.
Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
