This year for Spirit of Giving, Crosspoint is partnering with Little Light Ministry to collect essential items for those experiencing homelessness and for local schools serving students in need. Your generosity will help bring warmth, comfort, and hope to our neighbors during the coldest months of the year.
What We’re Collecting
We’re focusing on warm winter clothing for kids and adults (men and women) — anything that helps someone stay warm outdoors.
Suggested items include:
- Winter coats and jackets
- Sweatshirts and sweatpants
- Hats, scarves, mittens, and gloves
- Warm socks and winter boots
Blessing Bags
In addition to clothing, we’re assembling Blessing Bags that can be handed out to people in need. These 2-gallon bags will include:
- Socks, gloves, and hand/foot warmers
- Bottled water and snacks
- Small hygiene items
- Any other small comfort items we can fit
We’ll also be vacuum-sealing coats to keep in cars — ready to share when you see someone walking without something warm to wear.
How to Donate
Drop off your donations at the church anytime during the month of November.
If you’d like to help assemble Blessing Bags, we’ll have opportunities to serve together — stay tuned for details!
Why It Matters
We’ve heard from local teachers that kids are arriving to school in tank tops, without socks, and without coats. Your donations will go directly to Little Light Ministry, local schools, and people in need throughout our area.
Through a spirit of generosity, let's come together to meet the needs of those around us.
