Snacks for Success

We’re partnering with OASD staff who are finding an increase in elementary and middle school students coming to them sharing feelings of isolation and loneliness. School counselors and social workers distribute snacks to these students to help them feel comfortable, supported and at times to even help fight hunger and provide for low-income families. Donating single-serving snacks is a simple and tangible way to support frontline workers and the students in our community. Throughout the month of October, you can donate single-serving, store-bought snack items to help pave the way to success for these kids.

Here is a list of snack ideas that you can bring in:

  • Cheez Its
  • Pretzels
  • Goldfish
  • Animal crackers
  • Fruit cups
  • Beef sticks
  • Applesauce squeeze pouches
  • Fruit snacks
  • Raisins
  • Yogurt squeeze pouches
  • Nutrigrain bars
  • Wheat thins
  • Ritz crackers (not Ritz Bits)
  • Scooby Doo graham crackers
  • Annie's organic crackers or bunnies
  • Skinny pop
  • Pirate's Booty popcorn

No candy, cookies, or chips and please make sure all donations are nut-free!

You can drop off donations to the bin during our weekend service or the office during the week.
