Financial Foundations Series

In this fast-paced and engaging series, we will cover concepts to consider when planning for retirement, along with factors that people need to remember and account for, including how to get your money to work better, the basic components of planning and what a properly designed holistic plan looks like, as well as ways to grow and protect your assets along the way. And though delivered in a simplified way, the concepts covered will make up a good foundation of what you will need to know to develop a solid financial plan to help you get started properly or get you back on track.

Operation Christmas Child  Featured.jpg

Operation Christmas Child

Every year we participate in an event called Operation Christmas Child through the organization Samaritan's Purse. Operation Christmas Child is an opportunity where you can help bless a child in need. We will have boxes out in the Lobby for you to take on your way out. Inside this box you will find a sheet that tells you what to fill the box with. When you have filled the box up, return it to church! Every shoebox shares the Good News of Jesus Christ and blesses children with joy, hope and love. Operation Christmas Child is helping congregations grow and planting new churches worldwide!

Operation Christmas Child boxes need to be returned by Sunday, November 12.

Hurricane Relief  FB Resize.jpg

We are all aware of the incredible devastation that has happened recently due to hurricanes in Houston, Florida, and Puerto Rico.  Many of you have been asking how you can help and how we as a church family are responding to this crisis. We are part of a denomination called the Christian & Missionary Alliance and we have a disaster relief organization called CAMA, or Compassion and Mercy Associates. We are inviting people to channel their prayer and financial support to Puerto Rico through CAMA.  Hurricane Maria has inflicted the worst damage that Puerto Rico has ever seen.  Much of their infrastructure has been destroyed.  CAMA will be working closely with the 63 C&MA churches there to flesh out the good news of God’s love for people—as they meet tangible and spiritual needs.  This is a great opportunity for us to partner with our larger C&MA family in joining God in loving Puerto Rico through disaster.
