Sevenly Summer

Crosspoint Students has some fun events specially designed for you to invite your friends to this summer. We want to help you start a conversation about God with your friends and introduce them to the people in your group. Moonlit Movies at Fowler Park

Thursday, August 17

Moonlit Movies is a community event that we have the privilege to partner with. Join God in the work he is doing there by being His hands and feet at our Crosspoint Tent. This is a fun way to get to know some new people. There are many ways to get involved and help this event be the best it can be. You can help set-up (4:30 pm), run games or crafts, life guard the bubble pool, pass out brochures, converse with parents (5:30 pm) and/or help tear down (8 pm). Marriage Summer Date Nights

We are really excited about our “Date Night” events which are designed to get out and simply have fun together, like a big group date.  This offers a chance to slow down and enjoy time together, meet new couples and doing something different without planning. Mark your calendars and join other couples for great summer fun!

  • Saturday, September 9 | Adults’ Night out at the Movies. Join us at dusk, downtown Oconomowoc for fun, fellowship and an outdoor movie with other couples.

HeartLove Place's 17th Annual
Back to School Family Rally!

Saturday, August 12 from 10 am - 2 pm

With your partnership last year, HeartLove distributed over 700 bags with school supplies to families in Milwaukee. Join us again this year.

2 ways to get involved:

1) Backpack drive: Fill a backpack with much needed school supplies for HeartLove families. Backpacks and supply list at Welcome Center. Return backpacks by Monday, August 7.

2) Volunteer at the event: Be at HeartLove and help hand out the filled backpacks to the HeartLove families. Come pray at Church at 9 am and then caravan to HeartLove or drive yourself.  Event runs from 10 am - 2 pm.

Kid’s Fest

Tuesday, August 15 from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm at Roosevelt Park.
Kid’s Fest is a community event that we have the privilege to partner with. Join God in the work He is doing there by being His hands and feet at our Crosspoint tent. This is a fun way to get to know some new people. There are many ways to get involved and help this event be the best it can be. You can make and handout snow cones or  supervise inflatable rides. Crosspoint's New Care Groups

FAMILY & FRIENDS HOPE AND SUPPORT
Addiction, particularly to heroin, is crippling families, friendships and communities. If your life is impacted by someone struggling with addiction, join us Mondays, 7-8:30 pm at Crosspoint Room 203.

FAMILY & FRIENDS CANCER SUPPORT
Crosspoint's care support group for those with cancer and their family / friends meets Mondays from 6:30 - 8 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Will meet first and third Mondays of the month. This is a place to safely share, ask questions, encourage and move forward together. Open to all. Also looking for people to assist with childcare (for pay). LIFELINE
Lifeline is a a co-dependent support group for women dedicated to healing and change. Beginning Sept 21 this group meets every Thursday, 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Delafield Public Library - 500 N Genesee St, Delafield. They are reading "A House that Grace Built." GRIEFSHARE
GriefShare provides both tools and a Christ-centered perspective to help people find or deepen their faith as they examine soul-level questions about death, dying, mortality and eternal life and points grieving people to Christ as the source of their healing.
Meets Mondays, 6:30-8 pm in the Conference Room at Crosspoint.

NEW / PEAC/Parents of Estranged Adult Children
Do you have a strained or non-existent relationship with your adult child? You are not alone. PEAC (Parents of Estranged Adult Children) is a parent-led group offering support, encouragement and information on this silent epidemic. Meets 7 pm on the third Wednesday of the month, in Rooms 203-204 at Crosspoint. Contact Aimee at aimee@peacinternational.org  


The Global Leadership Summit

August 10 & 11, from 8:30 am- 4:30 pm at Elmbrook Lake Country (1100 WI-83, Hartland, WI 53029).
